June Giveaway Winner: A Rainy Day Turned Golden
We’re so excited to highlight our June Giveaway Winner, McKaylee! She won a free photoshoot with us, and we got to capture some sweet moments with her and her horse, Blue, at their barn in Waxhaw, NC.
As soon as we pulled up, the skies opened up and it poured. Like, we sat in the car and waited it out kind of rain. But we weren’t going to let a little weather stop us. Once there was a small break, we made a run for it and ducked into the barn aisle. It ended up being the perfect cozy backdrop while we waited for the storm to pass, and we got some of our favorite shots of McKaylee and Blue just hanging out together in their element.
After a little while, the rain finally let up and gave us the most beautiful golden hour glow. We headed out into the field with McKaylee, her mom, and Blue, and it turned into the sweetest session. The light, the laughter, and the connection between them made every moment feel special, and the photos show it.
McKaylee absolutely loved her gallery, and we’re so grateful we got to meet her (and Blue!) and create something meaningful together. It was one of those shoots where everything aligned, even if it didn’t start out that way and honestly, those are our favorite kind.
